BABBACOMBE THEATRE
The history of Babbacombe Theatre goes back 90 years. In 1920 a small bandstand was built where the Theatre now stands. In 1935 this was followed by a larger outddor and canvass covered structure with a canvas, but despite the outdoor entertainment, the weather often won! This small theatre has also seen stars from West End hit musicals such as ‘Phantom of the Opera’, ‘Me & My Girl’, ‘Cats’ and ‘Les Miserables’.
